Hong Kong

Tokyo is known as a city of lights with giant billboards making your night sunny. That’s true for the main busy areas such as Shibuya, Shinjuku or Roppongi, but definitely less when you leave the big avenues where quiet dark streets are common (and still safe!).
I knew from the beginning that Hong Kong is a small island with packed skyscrapers on on side of a hill. Since there is not energy saving policy there, the city could easily steal Tokyo’s title.
